Branding for premium food spot

Domenica is a small Italian quality grocery store located in the heart of the European district in Brussels. With the ambition to serve high quality Italian dishes to a demanding public, the grocery store offers take-away and consumption on site. We created their logo and visual identity.

A graphic concept inspired by Italy and the store layout.

The architectural concept initiated by the owners gives pride of place to local Italian producers: made up of stacks of wooden cases, the grocery store classifies the products and enhances the authenticity of the origins. It is with this same initial observation that we worked: using the work grid created by the different boxes, our identity reflects this state of mind with a custom typeface.

For the packaging system, we opted for recyclable cardboard boxes closed with a paper wrap featuring the identity and product information.
